UA WITH REFLEX TO MICRO AND CULTURE

Micro Reflexing:

1. Nitrite:  Positive
2. Leukocyte Esterase: Positive (trace or greater)
3. Blood: Positive (trace or greater)
4. Protein:  equal to or greater than 30mg/dL

If the following criteria is met, a culture will be reflexed:

*  greater than10 WBC seen on microscopic exam

WHEN TRANSCRIBING THE ORDER IN EPIC SEARCH BY URINALYSIS AND CLICK ON "TRANSCRIBE EXTERNAL UA ORDERS" THEN CHOOSE URINE TEST NEEDED PER THE ORDER BEING TRANSCRIBED.
