UA WITH REFLEX TO MICRO AND CULTURE

MICRO REFLEXES FROM A POSITIVE DIPSTICK BACTERIA, RBC, PROTEIN, AND LEUKOCYTES or HAZY,CLOUDY AND TURBID APPEARANCE.

If the following criteria is met, a culture will be reflexed:

* Nitrite Positive AND >10 WBC seen on microscopic exam

* Leukocyte Esterase Moderate AND >10 WBC seen on microscopic exam

* Leukocyte Esterase Large AND >10 WBC seen on microscopic exam
